Due to a forecast of inclement weather, we will be having our 1st grade picnic on Thursday instead of Tuesday next week. Tuesday will be a regular school day next week instead. If you have already turned in your permission slip, thank you! If you have not, please bring those on Monday!

Denver Zoo Field Trip
Our field trip to the Denver Zoo is about one week away and we could still use a few more chaperones. If you’re interested, click here to sign up!
What’s my rule?
Field Day is Friday!
Please make sure your child is wearing comfortable clothing/shoes, and sunscreen. Our schedule is here if you’d like to come watch at any point!
Can you help?
We still need some parent/community volunteers to help teach our JA in a Day program on Tuesday, May 14th. This is a great and easy way to help our students learn about their community. The lessons are ready to use and the classroom teacher will assist in the activities. All volunteers will need to attend a short training on May 7th (6pm) or May 8th (1:30pm). If you are interested in volunteering, please notify your classroom teacher or Mrs. Sampson in the office.
Assessment Day is coming!
Assessment day will be on May 3rd. Please select the time that works best for you. If your child will be in BASE that day, please enter their name only in that section and I will grab them as time allows.
Earth Day Construction Contest
The Tarver Green Team is holding a contest to celebrate Earth Day!
